    Palo Alto Networks boasts a world-class product management organization and is seeking an exceptional product manager to join the team. As a Product Manager for the SASE solution, including Prisma Access and Prisma SD-WAN, you will be responsible for shaping the strategy, feature functionality, and roadmap for core Prisma Access. This includes cloud infrastructure, service on and off ramps, and the overall security/network architecture. You will be expected to deliver product functionality that aligns with Palo Alto Networks’ renowned level of innovation. Your role will encompass all stages of the feature lifecycle—conception, definition, development, release, and post-release activities—managing both strategic planning and tactical execution.

    Other responsibilities include collaborating with Product Marketing to create product related sales and marketing materials; evangelizing the products and product strategy both internally and externally.

    Your Impact

    • Develop and Launch - Spearhead the creation and deployment of a new public cloud security platform by enhancing and expanding Prisma Access
    • Lifecycle Ownership - Manage the entire feature/product lifecycle from conception and definition through development and release
    • Collaborate with Marketing - Partner with the product marketing team to create compelling sales tools and marketing content that support sales and field marketing efforts
    • Cross-Functional Coordination - Collaborate with NPI, certification, professional services, support, and education teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of your products by these cross-functional groups
    • Ensure Compliance - Work with legal, InfoSec, engineering, technical marketing, and other internal teams to ensure adherence to various privacy and data protection regulations

    Your Experience

    • Proven Experience - Demonstrated success in Product Management or as a Technical Marketing Engineer within the networking and/or security domain
    • Analytical Skills - Expertise in market and customer analysis, requirements development, business case creation, collateral development, product strategy, and positioning
    • Lifecycle Management - Ability to fully own the product lifecycle from conception, writing product requirements, collaborating with engineering to build the product, and working with sales to drive customer adoption
    • Decision Making - Skilled in feature prioritization and making trade-off decisions
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Effective in working with all areas of the organization, from engineering to sales
    • Customer Engagement - Experience in customer engagement and relationship development for executive briefings, product evangelism, and requirements gathering
    • Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external audiences
    • Passion for Innovation - Strong desire to build world-class technology and take ownership of the full product lifecycle
    • Educational Background - BS/MS in Computer Science, another engineering/technical degree, or business or equivalent military experience - MBA preferred
    • Industry Experience - Minimum of 2 years in product management or minimum 5 years of technical expertise in the enterprise networking and Cloud networking space
    • Required Technical Skills - Deep understanding of Layer-2, Layer-3 and Layer-4 networking protocols, VPN and tunneling technologies and Cloud compute and network solutions
    • Problem-Solving - Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Presentation and Interpersonal Skills - Excellent presentation and people skills and a team-oriented mentality

    Compensation Disclosure

    The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $144000 - $233000/YR.
