Summary This is a Part-time photographer position, preferably 15-20 hours a week during normal business hours of 9AM to 5PM.
The applicant will be working along side another Part-time photographer and assisting in her daily duties. The candidate will be capable of taking hundreds of photos per day of assorted auction items. Must be able to take sharp, detailed photos and demonstrate their abilities on the spot.
The applicant will be responsible for photo retouching, sorting & renaming, and assisting in the upload process to multiple online auction galleries & bidding platforms. The applicant will work with other photographers to maintain a large volume of digital images for all sales on the company server according to our photographic protocol.
Requirements
Candidate must have solid product photography experience, working knowledge of studio lighting, macro photography experience, post processing proficiency, and a strong understanding of Adobe Suite including Lightroom and Photoshop CC.
Photographer must be a team player, be able to work well with others, be extremely organized, and adhere to hard deadlines. The applicant must be able to adapt to change and be a problem solver.
The applicant must be proficient with Windows computer systems and must be able to quickly adapt to new software environments. The position requires technical coordination skills and learning file upload protocols for a variety of software and web portals.
Experience in multiple social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest is strongly desired. Working knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager desired.
BA in Fine Art / photography / related field strongly desired but not required.
