Product Resource Representative - Industrial Flooring - Base Salary to 75k/year - Kansas City, MO

• Our client is seeking a Product Resource Representative with hands-on experience in industrial flooring applications to join their growing team. The Product Resource Representative position blends fieldwork, problem-solving, and technical support for clients nationwide. The ideal candidate will have practical expertise in industrial epoxy flooring and coatings, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve flooring-related issues

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical service and support for industrial flooring installations.
• Conduct field investigations into flooring failures and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with customers to ensure proper product application and resolve claims.
• Support internal teams through lab work, phone consultation, and technical training.
• Travel nationwide (~50%) to customer sites, spending 3-4 days per trip.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience installing industrial floor coatings: epoxy coatings, flake systems, quartz, polyurethane-modified concrete, vinyl, or MMA.
• Experience with secondary containment systems is a plus.
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex flooring application issues.
• Basic NACE/Concrete certification is a plus but not required.
• Strong technical knowledge of flooring failures and remediation processes.
• Proficiency in providing hands-on and consultative technical support.
