    Product Sales - Machinery Division

    Responsibilities:

    • Sales Support: Collaborate exclusively with Sales Representatives to provide expert technical assistance and support. Focus 2% on acquiring new accounts and 98% on nurturing and growing existing accounts.
    • Training & Development: Provide comprehensive training to Sales Representatives on our product offerings, enabling them to sell effectively and with confidence.
    • Customer Interaction: Engage directly with customers to understand their needs, provide technical insights, and promote our product solutions.
    • Competitive Analysis: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of competitive products and market conditions to effectively position our offerings.
    • Project Assessment: Assist in evaluating the viability of projects from both technical and commercial perspectives.
    • Order Assistance: Support Sales Representatives in the follow-up process and closing of orders, ensuring a smooth and successful transaction.
    • Specialty Equipment Requests: Handle requests for specialty equipment with written documentation from customers. Review and discuss these requests within the sales team to ensure appropriate responses.
    • Proposal Review: Examine and approve offerings prepared by field sales representatives before they are submitted to prospective customers.
    • Customer Visits: Arrange and conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective customers to foster relationships and drive sales.
    • Sales Activities: Participate in various sales and marketing activities, including trade shows, customer seminars, and other events as needed. Assist in display set-up, dismantling, and other related tasks.
    • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales manager and team to support promotional activities and enhance the overall sales strategy.

    Requirements:

    • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
    • Experience with manufactured electro-mechanical capital equipment, specific to the Food & Bev industry would be preferred, not required
    • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication abilities.
    • Educational Background: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), or Chemical Engineering (CE) is desirable, but not required.
    • Sales Experience: Proven experience in selling technical engineered products across various industries. Experience with processing industries is a plus.
    • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles with a professional demeanor.
    • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, standing, and walking for extended periods. Must be able to work in diverse environmental conditions, including varying temperatures, weather, and noise levels.
    • Travel: Occasional travel may be required (up to 5%).
