Product Specialist Trainer - Property Casualty Insurance
Position: Property Casualty Insurance Product Specialist Trainer - Location: Madison, WI, US Job Role: Join a dynamic property and casualty insurance firm based in Madison, WI. Play a key role in developing and showcasing innovative product ideas. Deliver training sessions to educate staff on product specifics. Salary range: $65,000 - $90,000 per year, dependent on experience and expertise level. Extensive benefits package inclusive of bonuses and 401(k) matching. Responsibilities: • Organize, facilitate, and provide training for agents, claims adjusters, and underwriters on coverage, coverage options, product updates, and revisions • Researches and maintains knowledge of competitor policies and coverages that are available in the marketplace • Monitors regulatory activity and knowledge of regulations, rules, and laws that impact company products and corporate compliance • Maintains contact and working rapport with company agency force and marketing staff to understand company product needs and trends • Reviews and recommends new products and/or changes to existing products, to meet company product needs • Develops and designs new policy forms, endorsements, and other company documents • Participate in the implementation of policy form changes, filing of company products, and product-related changes • Maintains existing policy forms, providing revisions needed to keep products compliant and up to date in the marketplace • Assists in the administration of the product and rate committee • Point of contact for the agency force on product questions • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Business Administration, or related discipline or equivalent work experience • Minimum of two years of property/casualty underwriting, sales, or claims product experience • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Demonstrated superior communication skills in order to accurately train individuals on the RMIC product • Ability to coordinate and lead projects • Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently and multi-task • Ability to operate a personal computer including experience with Microsoft Office • Additional education in CPCU or other industry-related coursework preferred • Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Hmong, etc.) are a plus Compensation: $65,000 - $90,000 yearly DOE + benefits
