    Job Description

    This role will become the MRP expert for our client's Modular Construction business segment. Their initial responsibility is in the role of Functional Analyst, understanding business processes and functional business requirements and mapping them to capabilities of the MRP system. This will require either an expert level of understanding of IFS MRP/ERP systems, or the ability to become the expert based on experiences with other MRP systems. Knowledge of manufacturing, BOM, shop floor execution, inventory, and procurement systems and processes will be keys to success in this role. Once the new MRP system is implemented this role will transition to our Modular Construction Production Control Manager.

    Requirements Gathering:

    • Partnering with stakeholders to document, analyze, and design business processes
    • Translate business processes and requirements into system setup, configuration, and implementation requirements
    • Work with an implementation partner to implement the IFS MRP system and capabilities for the modular construction business segment
    • Translate business requirements to system requirements

    Design:

    • Document current and future state business processes
    • Map business processes to system capabilities by configuring, testing, and analyzing results
    • Provide feedback to stakeholders on system capabilities and limitations and redesign business processes to accommodate system design and capabilities

    Training:

    • Develop training materials for MRP system users across various operations, processes, and system modules
    • Conduct individual or group training sessions on MRP functions and processes

    ** Work Experience**

    • 5+ years in a Manufacturing Process, Operations, or Functional Analyst role

    ** Education/Training**

    • College Degree or equivalent work experience

    ** Software & Technology**

    • Microsoft Office
    • Project Management Software
    • Expert knowledge of MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
