Production Coordinator (Expeditor, Project Planner, Inventory Analyst)
We areseeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join ourdynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in inventorymanagement, project planning, and expediting within a production environment.This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations, optimizing workflows, andachieving production targets efficiently.
**Key Responsibilities: **
1.**Inventory Management: **- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet production demands.- Analyze inventory data and trends to forecast needs and optimize stocklevels.- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely ordering ofmaterials and supplies.- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to track materials andreduce waste.
2.**Project Planning: **- Collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to develop project timelines andschedules.- Ensure all project plans align with production capacity and resourceavailability.- Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
3.**Expediting: **- Act as the primary point of contact for sales and production partnersregarding order status and material delivery.- Expedite orders and resolve any issues that may impact production flow.- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure that all materials areavailable when needed to meet production deadlines.
4.**Cross-Functional Collaboration: **- Work closely with production teams, procurement, and quality assurance toensure seamless operations.- Facilitate communication between departments to address challenges andenhance process efficiency.- Provide training and support to team members on inventory and productionprocesses.
5.**Reporting and Analysis: **- Generate reports related to inventory levels, production schedules, andproject statuses.- Analyze data to make informed recommendations for process improvements andoperational efficiency.- Participate in weekly and monthly production meetings to present findings andinsights.
