    JOB OVERVIEW The Production Coordinator assists in supporting technology for Preston Trail in terms of integration, maintenance, problem-solving, etc. Occasionally they will provide training to campus production teams who operate the equipment. While this role is primarily focused on the equipment, that translates into also serving ministries by operating equipment in certain circumstances. They will manage incoming, outgoing, and stocked equipment. They will also manage our asset tracking system. All Production staff must work together, cross-train, and spend time assisting on all manner of projects. A successful candidate is someone who has excellent communication skills, is detailed oriented, and capable of rolling with changing priorities and personalities.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    5+ years of technical experience, working in an AVL or another relevant field

    Ability to pastor and care for volunteers while leading production environments

    Able to troubleshoot and support Preston Trail systems in all environments

    Must understand private networking for signal and data transport

    Must understand ProPresenter

    Strong working knowledge of setup, install, and management of Windows/MacOS operating systems and the hardware associated

    Some working knowledge of live and broadcast audio infrastructure, interfacing, and concepts at a high level (ex. DiGiCo, AVID, ProTools, Dante, MADI)

    Some working knowledge of broadcast video infrastructure, interfacing, and concepts at a high level (ex. SMPTE 2110, SDI, HD SDI, Ross Video, Grass Valley)

    Some working knowledge of theatrical lighting infrastructure, interfacing, and concepts utilizing DMX based infrastructure at a high level (ex. Art Net, DMX, KlingNet, Jands Vista)

    Must be able to terminate a variety of AVL cabling (ex. CAT cable, SDI cable, XLR cable, and DMX cable)

    Must be comfortable with and understand responsible use of power tools, ladders, aerial lifts, and test equipment

    Requires the ability to multi-task and work independently in carrying out assignments to completion

    Must have excellent communication / customer service skills and be able to interface with the Preston Trail Staff, guests and members

    WEEKLY DUTIES

    Install, maintain, and troubleshoot broadcast video, audio, lighting, and computer equipment at a high level across Preston Trail

    Operate audio, video, and lighting equipment when needed

    Assist with IT management

    Create documentation on systems, best practices, and standards

    Manage asset tracking system

    Provide training on audio, video, lighting, and computer systems

    Attend all assigned on-site and virtual meetings relevant to production

    Learn and develop skills in all aspects of live production

    Be on site Sundays to ensure execution of weekend services
