    Position Summary:

    Compu-Mail is currently in search of a dependable and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Delivery Driver for our esteemed print shop operations. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in guaranteeing the prompt and precise delivery of printed materials to our valued clients, all while maintaining the utmost levels of professionalism and customer satisfaction. Our ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to excellence, ensuring that each delivery is executed with care and efficiency, reflecting our dedication to quality service.

    Essential Functions:

    • Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport printed materials to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
    • Load and unload printed materials onto delivery vehicles with meticulous attention to proper handling and secure packaging.
    • Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of printed materials to clients, prioritizing orders based on client deadlines and requirements.
    • Verify delivery orders against invoices and packing lists to ensure accuracy and completeness of shipments.
    • Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions, maintaining professionalism and resolving any issues or concerns promptly.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles through regular inspection and maintenance.
    • Collaborate with the print shop team to coordinate delivery schedules and support other tasks such as printing, packaging, and order fulfillment as needed.

    Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or a related discipline is often required or an equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree.
    • Preferably previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar capacity.
    • Familiarity with delivery routes and local areas is advantageous.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in safe and secure handling and transportation of packages.
    • Exemplary communication and customer service aptitudes.
    • Flexibility to accommodate occasional evening or weekend shifts, if required.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Understanding of traffic laws and safety regulations pertaining to driving and delivery operations.
    • Familiarity with local routes and geographical areas to optimize delivery efficiency.
    • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
    • Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
    • Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in verifying delivery orders and handling packages securely.
    • Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also being a team player when collaborating with the print shop team.
    • Exceptional customer service skills, including effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
    • Physical stamina and capability to lift and transport packages of many sizes and weights safely.
    • Basic computer skills.
