    Objective:

    As a Production Kitting Associate, you will assist the Production team in setting up, preparing, quality checking the team, and completing Production jobs.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    Maintains clean, efficient and organized work area by adhering to the company’s, HACCP, Kosher, ServSafe, and USDA food safety guidelines.

    Maintains adequate inventory supply levels needed to fulfill orders.

    Supply production team throughout the day with products they will need to complete orders.

    Print labels for production job bags.

    Gather products needed in production and return to the necessary areas when completed.

    QC production team members work.

    Input production jobs into inventory management system.

    Ability to aid fulfillment teams, when required.

    Ability to assist Marketing department with product and information needed for promotions.

    Fulfills production orders within the required timeframes.

    Completes electronic Bill of Materials in ERP system during completion of production orders.

    Assist Inventory Control Specialist with inventory tasks, when needed.

    Gather weights for new products when received at the Distribution Center.

    Knowledge and Job Requirements:

    High School Diploma/GED.

    1-3 years Food Service and/or Production order processing experience.

    ServSafe certification, within completion of a 90-day probationary period.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Computer skills necessary, Excel & Office 365 preferred.

    Works well independently and in a team environment.

    Ability to set objectives and goals.

    Possess strong organizational and time management skills.

    Physical Requirements to perform the essential functions of this job:

    Ability to utilize hands and fingers to perform tasks as necessary for job duties, which may include operating machinery, handling materials, or typing.

    Capacity for visual acuity to monitor processes, examine materials, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

    Communicate in English utilizing both written and oral methods including the use of speech and hearing to communicate effectively with team members, clients, customers, and the ability to engage in verbal discussions and listen attentively.

    Ability to perform various physical tasks that may require continuous standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., and maneuvering within the workspace.

    Operation of kitchen tools.

    Ability to perform repetitive tasks.

    Ability to visually identify products and their characteristics.

    Frequently climb ladders and stairs.

    Consistently work around spices; must not be sensitive to various scents and aromas.
