We are part of the SERVPRO nationwide Storm Team. The Storm Team is made up of the best of the best. When there is a severe weather event in any part of the country, we are dispatched to where we are needed the most. Our teams have traveled to places like Texas, South Dakota, and North Carolina and we’ll be ready to travel again when the time comes. When you travel with our Storm Team we cover all expenses, you earn a daily per diem, and you can earn over $30 an hour!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Water extraction, light demolition, use of hand tools and power tools
· Develop knowledge of structural drying techniques & become knowledgeable in the operation of specialized equipment on job sites
· Excellent customer service
· Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project
· Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and shop areas
· Prepare rooms/areas for work activities
· Set up staging area and equipment for each project
· Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
· Perform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines
· Ensure clear two-way communication with management and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)
· Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
· Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on the job site, in the office, and while traveling
· Inventory shop supplies on a regular basis and report on low inventory items to management
REQUIREMENTS:
General Requirements:
-Valid driver's license
-Dependable, friendly, great attitude, effective oral communication
-Experience in water restoration
-IICRC certifications preferred
-Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
-High school diploma/GED
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
-Be able to work in all climates including extreme heat and cold
-Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
-Walking, standing, sitting, or driving for long periods of time
-Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
-Ability to work in tight spaces
-Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
