    Staff supervision within the factory

Vendor negotiations (ingredients, packaging, and other supplies)

New product development in collaboration with the team

Coordination of shipments and deliveries to retail stores

Oversight of shipping operations for online sales (Note: While not typically part of a production manager’s scope, online order fulfillment is an essential part of our operations.)

    Ideal Qualifications:

5 year+ Experience in Food Industry

    Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)

Foundational knowledge of food science, food hygiene, and food-related regulations

    Basic Spanish comprehension

Experience in food factory management or small-scale food shop operations preferred

A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and improve factory processes

Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to motivate, manage, and mentor staff effectively

High attention to detail in managing processes, materials, and inventory

Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines

Experience in process optimization to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness

Knowledge of quality control procedures, ensuring products meet standards and implementing corrective actions when needed

Project management experience, particularly with new product launches or operational improvements

Culinary school graduate or university degree in a related field preferred.
