    Job Summary:

    The Production Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of production. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of high-quality products, managing budgets, and supervising a team of production staff.

    Requirements: 5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in a Japanese automotive industry

    • Proven track record of successful production planning and execution
    • Hire, train, evaluate and discharge staff and resolve personnel grievances
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Proficient in project management tools and software
    • Initiate and coordinate KAIZEN and cost control programs
    • Participates in ISO 14001 Annual Audit Activities
    • Develop and maintain production reports and production team records as required.
    • Other job duties as assigned

    Miscellaneous:

    • Manage and lead both Production and Project Planning Group, including training, development, performance reviews, disciplinary actions and daily supervision.
    • Set KPI's and review assess ongoing performance
    • Communicate KPIs from annual plan so each team member is aware.
    • Ensure that function operates in accordance with any health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure safety of employees, vendors and visitors.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Must have proficient oral and written communication skills
    • Must have knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
    • Must be willing to cross train
    • Must be willing to take initiative on new projects
    • Must comply with the company's attendance record
    • Must be able to navigate Microsoft Suite, including Office, Word, Excell, Powerpoint, and Access. Also use of Windows Operating System a must.
    • Must be able to multitask, problem solve, team participation, and motivation to learn new skills continuously

    Work Environment:

    • Noise level: moderate noise
    • Typically performed in both office and production environment.
    • Use a variety of tools and equipment such as computer terminal for data input and other office equipment

    Physical Tasks:

    • Lifting up to 10 pounds-occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
    • Ableto read and analyze data in hard copy and computer screen
