    Position: Production Manager As the Production Manager at Floor Coverings International, you will be instrumental in leading our operations and supporting our business growth. Serving as the primary point of contact for our valued customers, you’ll ensure their satisfaction from start to finish. This role demands strong leadership, outstanding multitasking abilities, and meticulous attention to detail to uphold our standards of excellence.

    Production Manager: Qualifications

    Industry Experience: Proven background in flooring production management.

    Strong Communication Skills: Effective in both phone and in-person interactions.

    Bilingual, a Plus (but not required): English/Spanish-speaking skills are advantageous for enhancing communication.

    Established Installer Network: Strong connections in the industry.

    Production Expertise: Skilled in planning, scheduling, and workflow management.

    Tech-Savvy: Proficient in computer systems and software.

    Proactive Planner: Anticipates needs and adjusts strategies for optimal outcomes.

    Growth-Oriented: Ready to contribute to and thrive in a high-growth, start-up environment.

    Highly Organized: Excellent at multitasking and managing details.

    Independent Decision-Maker: Confident making choices autonomously when needed.

    Forklift Operation, a Plus (but not required-we will train): Experience with forklift operation is beneficial for managing materials efficiently.

    Production Manager: Key Responsibilities

    Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain lasting client relationships.

    Team Collaboration: Hold weekly meetings with sales staff to discuss new sales and ongoing projects.

    Installer Recruitment and Vetting: Proactively seek out and evaluate installer talent.

    Installer and Vendor Oversight: Manage relationships with installers and vendors to ensure quality and reliability.

    Conflict Management and Negotiation: Resolve conflicts and negotiate effectively with suppliers and crews to maintain productive relationships.

    Daily Production Meetings: Communicate with installers on project updates and timelines.

    Project Coordination: Keep customers and installers informed about start dates and schedules.

    Problem Solving and Resolution in Construction: Address challenges as they arise, ensuring smooth progress on each project.

    On-Site Quality Control: Visit job sites to ensure work meets company standards and customer expectations.

    Inventory and Ordering: Accurately order, track, and manage job-specific products.

    Product Management and Costing: Oversee product allocation and manage job costs efficiently.

    Customer Satisfaction: Aim to consistently achieve 5/5 star customer satisfaction ratings.

    Compensation: Salary range $45,000-$55,000 plus bonus opportunities
