We are hiring at all of these locations: • Dyer • Gary • Hobart • Lansing • Merrill Point • St. John • Griffith • Hazel Crest Responsibilities: What You’ll Be Doing: • Optimize Production Efficiency: Identify inefficiencies in workflows, recommend improvements, and implement strategies that drive measurable increases in productivity, output, and quality. You'll be expected to continuously evaluate systems, leveraging data to inform decisions that enhance operational performance. • Drive Continuous Improvement: With a focus on results, you'll refine processes, reduce waste, and establish best practices that improve efficiency across the board. Your ability to spot patterns and trends will be key to enhancing both short-term and long-term operational success. • Lead with Precision: You'll manage a production team, providing clear direction, setting performance goals, and fostering an environment where accountability and high standards are the norm. Through regular feedback, training, and coaching, you'll ensure team members are aligned with company objectives and are consistently performing at their best. • Leverage Data to Make Informed Decisions: You'll have access to data that highlights performance trends, bottlenecks, and areas of improvement. Your expertise in analyzing this information will guide your decisions, helping you optimize both team dynamics and production workflows. • Set Clear Metrics and Goals: You'll establish clear KPIs and track performance against those metrics. You'll be responsible for ensuring production targets are met, quality standards are adhered to, and any challenges are addressed with quick, effective solutions. • Collaborate Across Functions: Work with other departments—such as logistics, HR, and retail—to ensure a seamless flow of operations from intake to distribution. Your ability to collaborate and communicate effectively will ensure alignment across teams. • Ensure Safety and Compliance: You'll take the lead in maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant production environment. Monitoring safety standards and operational procedures will be crucial to preventing risks and fostering a culture of care within the team. • Report and Reflect: Regularly present data-driven insights and performance reports to leadership. Your ability to clearly communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations will help inform strategic decisions at the organizational level. Qualifications: • Proven experience managing production operations in fast-paced environments, with a focus on improving systems and driving efficiency. • Skilled in using data to analyze performance and identify areas for improvement. • Strong problem-solving abilities, tackling challenges with creative and practical solutions. • Effective team leader, motivating and empowering individuals to meet goals while fostering accountability and continuous improvement. • Detail-oriented with a focus on tracking metrics, setting up systems, and ensuring smooth operations. • Clear communicator, able to present complex ideas and collaborate across teams. • Adaptable, comfortable adjusting strategies to meet evolving needs and new technologies. • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, or related field, or equivalent experience preferred. Compensation: $47,300 yearly
