    Job Description

    The Production Operator is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and begin growing your career in the glass manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for observing production lines to ensure they are running smoothly and there are no impediments.

    The Production Operator ****will:

    • Monitor the controls to ensure the palletizer machines continue to operate effectively
    • Clear any jams that impede the production line
    • Inspect cartons and bottles for any obvious defects
    • Perform minor maintenance to ensure the palletizers are working smoothly
    • Rotate/transfer among departments as directed

    The Production Operator should:

    • Have a strong mechanical aptitude
    • Have good interpersonal skills
    • Be highly safety conscious
    • Be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts and overtime, as required
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • At least 18 years of age
    • High School diploma or GED
    • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred
    • Must be willing to work 12 hour rotating shifts
