  • Responsibilities

    Country Archer is looking for production operators to operate one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment. This may include moving raw material, handling to the production line, and/or Thawing, Batching, Mixing, Grinding, Injecting, Slicing, Cooking, Verifying Water Activity, Cutting, Packing (Filling, Sealing, Coding), labeling or boxing product in either a dry or wet setting of temperatures ranging from 32 degrees- 80 degrees. Removes damaged products or supplies, as needed. Position responsible for production Changeovers. Maintains required product inspection processes. Performs basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment runs efficiently. Position requires lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling items repeatedly over the established work period. This position requires walking or standing most of the time during the shift and may include climbing stairs. Position may be required to work weekends and/or holidays based on company needs.

    Schedule : 11:30 am to 8:00 pm, Monday through Friday, Saturday work and overtime availability required as needed.

    Primary Duties:

    • Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Country Archer's standard of safety, quality, and throughput.

    • Operate various machines in accordance with provided training and instruction

    • Prepare machine daily operation according to SOP & Standard Work Instructions.

    • Maintain specification by observing production, detecting malfunctions, and adjusting controls.

    • Perform necessary machine adjustments and troubleshooting to ensure quality and quantity standards are being produced.

    • Perform regular quality checks to ensure that all materials produced meet quality specifications.

    • Communicate all mechanical issues to Team Lead for resolution.

    • Maintain regular housekeeping of the machine and surrounding work area as instructed.

    • Consistent adherence to GMPs and SOPs always

    • Follows the production schedule

    • Keep daily records of down time and machine operations

    • Work well with others in a team-oriented atmosphere

    • Regular, reliable, predictable attendance

    • Maintain good housekeeping ensuring clean equipment and area before, during, and after shift

    • Manage and monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies used in production, ensuring timely replenishment to avoid interruptions in the manufacturing process.

    • Accurately record inventory lot numbers used in production, ensuring proper documentation, traceability, and adherence to First Expired, First Out (FEFO) inventory management practices

    • Effectively communicate and provide clear, simple instructions to packers working on your line to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production standards

    • Manage quick changeovers according to the cleaning matrix, ensuring efficient transitions between products while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards

    • Performs other job- related projects, duties an assignment as directed by leadership and management.

    Skills/Experience:

    • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail

    • Excellent communication skills both Verbal and Written

    • Strong problem-solving skills

    • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written work-related instructions

    • Ability to track and record production information as necessary.

    • Takes initiative to work without close supervision

    • Works with urgency to hit daily goals

    • Computer literate, able to navigate Safety Chain for reporting

    • Proficient in basic mathematics

    • Knowledge of GMPs and SOP's

    • Good mechanical aptitude.

    Starting Salary: $20.00 to $22.00
