Job Description:
As the Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the precision and profitability of construction projects. This position requires a skilled professional with a strong background in estimating, team coordination, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Experience/Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years of proven experience in estimating for roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and decks.
· Extensive field experience in construction with a focus on job cost analysis.
· Previous experience working with insurance claims is required.
· Strong track record of coordinating across multiple teams.
· Management experience/Experience running a team.
Skills Needed:
· Exceptional ability to build accurate orders and estimates.
· Proficient in job cost analysis to ensure project profitability.
· Excellent coordination skills across various teams within the organization.
· Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
· Experience with Acculynx is a plus.
· Team player with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
· Capacity to see the big picture and analyze complex construction projects.
· Working knowledge of building code.
Job Responsibilities:
· Lead the estimation process for roofing, siding, gutters, windows, and decks projects.
· Build accurate orders, ensuring alignment with project specifications.
· Conduct thorough job cost analysis to optimize project profitability.
· Coordinate effectively across multiple teams within the organization.
· Generate and approve quotes for roofing and siding projects.
· Work closely with design consultants ahead of material selections.
· Proactively identify potential issues on jobs and develop plans for resolution.
· Communicate clearly with the design team, other team members, and homeowners regarding project details.
· Provide clear instructions to the construction crew.
· Work on-site during regular business hours.
· Update order flags and enter production notes.
· Create specialty metal quotes and orders.
· Read and analyze insurance estimates accurately.
· Assist Supplement lead with explaining to insurance how things need to be built to code/manufacture specs.
