COMPANY DESCRIPTIONS: Established in year 2000, Monda Window and Door Systems is a manufacturer located in Corona, NY, specialized in custom-designed window and door products in vinyl and aluminum systems. We have a full line of double hung, slider, casement, awning , hopper, picture, bow/bay and architectural shape windows. We also offer sliding doors, terrace doors, storefronts, entrances doors, shower doors, mirrors, glass railing, ...etc.
JOB DESCRIPTIONS: As the Production Plant Manager, you will be responsible for managing, directing, and leading plant window production activities in accordance with established manufacturing policies and procedures. Provide leadership to front line supervisors and operators to ensure safety, quality, production efficiencies and delivery are met. Maintain plant cost effectiveness by coordination of all production departments toward fulfillment of annual goals and standards. Implement window product production schedules, parameters, programs, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and monitors same for compliance and progress.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
● Monitor the daily production schedule of vinyl and aluminum window products, ensuring the daily schedule is met at the desired levels of quality and delivery standards with optimum efficiency.
● Make sure safety standards and values are understood and followed, ensuring a safe working environment. Establish and facilitate departmental procedures which in turn enhance production and efficiency of each department while supporting safety policies and procedures.
● Along with staff and Engineering, ensure that continuous improvement activities related to both process and quality are in place and active in all production departments.
● Supervise the mechanic and coordinate tasks that are needed to ensure equipment’s optimum performance and minimum downtime (e.g. equipment preventive maintenance, repair logs, spare parts management…etc.)
● Initiate and implement procedures/processes to conserve material and eliminate waste.
● Periodic review of the production SOPs to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Assist engineer in developing new SOPs as needed.
● With assistances from the Human Resources Dept, ensure that recruitment, hiring, assignment and termination of personnel is in line with business demands and consistent with corporate policies and governmental regulations.
● Maintain positive associate relations through fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
● Evaluate subordinate personnel for management potential and coordinates developmental activities with Human Resources to ensure progression.
● Prepare annual manufacturing/production labor information for forecasts and budgets.
● Complete and review daily, weekly and monthly reporting of operating metrics. Generate daily production meeting minutes.
● Monitor manpower requirements. Plan and establish utilization targets to realize most efficient use of available manpower and facilities. Monitor and ensure adequate capacity and adjust to match demand.
● Coordinate and monitor compliance with customer and company product specifications and standards to ensure the manufacture of quality product.
● Implement monthly inventory counts, monitor and maintain all raw material inventories.
● Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
● 5+ years of industrial plant management experience is a MUST.
● Must be able to communicate in Mandarin Chinese (speak/read/write).
● Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education/experience required.
● Comprehensive knowledge of vinyl and aluminum window manufacturing systems and techniques preferred.
● Highly developed oral and written communication skills required with all levels of the organization.
● Proficient knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices such as Kaizen, 5S, DFT, etc.
● Financial and budgeting knowledge. Knowledge of engineering processes, information technologies, and human resource functions to enable accessing these resources as needed to support manufacturing operations. Working knowledge of plant equipment and systems.
