Job summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient production processes by effectively managing schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain operations. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing systems and demand planning to optimize production flow and meet customer demands.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with supply chain management to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Monitor inventory control processes to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Utilize JobBoss and other systems to track production progress and adjust schedules as necessary.
• Analyze data to forecast future production needs and adjust plans accordingly.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to address scheduling conflicts or changes in demand.

Experience

• Proven experience in production scheduling or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with inventory management techniques and tools.
• Proficiency in using planning systems, preferably JobBoss for tracking production processes.
• Experience with demand planning and forecasting methodologies is highly desirable.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing concepts is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in scheduling tasks.
