    Production Scheduler 1st Shift

    Base Pay: $23.50 - $25.50 per hour

    1st Shift: 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Prepare full-scale layout drawings for use in specialty product fabrication to include all miter angles and cut profile shapes based on customer order information. Develop and utilize production formulas for use in cut list calculations to determine sizes for specialty products and grids. Act as contact person for Production Control.

    • Schedule regular and fast rack orders. Compare pending work count report vs. capacity chart, balance workload and print & review production workload report
    • Create intercept file (if grids), optimize intercept. Calculate grids and enter grids in Customer Center
    • Order tempered, screens and hand schedule tempered glass
    • Calculate hand order sizes
    • Math skills at a minimum high school level geometry, trigonometry and algebra required
    • practical experience in mechanical/technical drawing may be substituted for formal training
    • 2 - 3 years experience in a fast-paced, custom product, manufacturing environment; production scheduling experience preferred
    • AutoCAD 2000 or higher level of experience required.

    • Ability to comprehend overall manufacturing process, understand product configurations, interpret information from both internal and external customers
    • Ability to interpret customer drawings, sketches, and written/verbal specifications to prepare scale manufacturing drawings
    • Ability to visualize spatial relationships when reading written descriptions
    • Ability to successfully prioritize and complete multiple work assignments with minimal direction on a daily basis
    • Ability to think critically and reason to interpret manufacturing performance results and be able to compare to normal, expected results
    • Must be able to organize, problem solve and deal effectively with difficult people and difficult situations
    • Knowledge of and proficient in the use of personal computers and varies software programs, MS Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
    • Must be detail oriented and accurate
    • Knowledge and ability to develop and utilize spreadsheets
    • Willingness to accept responsibility and demonstrate professional business etiquette
    • Must be able to develop and maintain rapport with a wide variety of individuals
    • Ability to contribute to a safe and drug free workplace

    The US base pay range for this full-time position is $23.50 per hour to $25.50 per hour + shift differential if applicable + medical, dental, and vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
