    Job Description

    We are currently seeking 2 Production Schedulers to become part of the Ulbrich Production team. The Production Schedulers will perform diversified duties in connection with the planning and scheduling of equipment, personnel and the issuance of material from inventory in a manner that capitalizes upon equipment and operational capacities while conserving organizational assets and achieving customer specifications and delivery expectations.

    Your primary responsibilities will include: developing and maintaining material and operational flow in accordance with predetermined methods and standards; learning and utilizing scheduling software to ensure efficient/accurate scheduling of material; monitoring key KPIs (on time delivery, job priorities etc.) and adjusting schedules/processes to maximize efficiency/performance; utilizing current ERP system to track, update, and complete relevant functions in accordance to scheduling/order updates following progress of workflow; investigating delays or inadequate performance and recommending corrective action; monitoring machine availability and production capacity to optimize schedules and material flow; preparing work order details including product specifications, codes, material identification, documents, routing, release and shipping data; coordinating scheduling effort with scheduling counterpart as well as other key stakeholders (Sales, Metallurgy, Production, Quality/Lab etc.); evaluating material inventory levels, flow, equipment and production capacity to determine optimum workflow; reviewing and revising schedule as required to compensate for priorities orders, modifications in delivery schedules, and/or production delays and changes; determining process lead time on orders to meet delivery commitments; completing analysis on orders shipped late to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions/process improvements; escalating production, material availability and/or scheduling issues to Manager when they may negatively impact product delivery; responsible for complying with all quality system procedures and requirements documented in the Company’s Quality System as pertains to this position; and entering and maintaining all related documentation in accordance with quality system and processes.

    Qualified candidates will have: An Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with concentration in area of operations, supply chain management or production planning; demonstrated ability/willingness to learn, to design, implement and mange effective workflows, demonstrated ability/willingness to learn, to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, to collaborate and communicate effectively across multiple functional areas in order to secure and provide information as well as achieve cooperation and desired end result.

    Regular attendance at work is required.
