    JOB TITLE: Production Specialist

    GENERAL SUMMARY:

    This position is responsible for the manufacturing of hollow fiber membrane filters in a production or clean room environment following all applicable policies, processes and procedures.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    · Identifies continuous improvement opportunities and owns/supports implementing the identified improvements

    · Trained to intermediate and some more critical/advanced processes.

    · Able to recognize problems or quality concerns and understand the impact to product quality. Can work with engineering to find solutions to problems in the manufacturing process.

    · Limited use of the electronic systems used in operations.

    · Cross-trained across multiple work cells/lines, takes advantage of opportunities to broaden their cross-training and quickly learns new processes.

    · Willing and able to train others on intermediate level processes.

    · Has a solid understanding of the product flow from the start to finish of a work cell/line.

    · Able to effectively communicate across departments, including the extended team.

    JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

    · High school diploma or equivalent

    · 2-5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment

    · Willingly and proactively collaborates with others to achieve operational goals.

    · Fully aware of the quality of own work and that of others around you

    · Works with energy, passion, and drives towards goals with professionalism and respect; operates in a way that creates an atmosphere of achievement.

    · Adheres to all company safety policies and guidelines

    · Performs daily job duties in a safe manner and keeps their work area clean and organized at all times · Capable of following detailed assembly instructions, both written and verbal. Complies with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per the Quality System.

    · Consistent ability to meet production goals for assigned processes while maintaining quality standards for the product.

    · Employee workmanship and documentation standards regularly meet all of our quality standards and GMP practices

    · Works well with others in the value stream and offers support when help is needed in a different area.

    · Consistently adheres to attendance and punctuality guidelines

    · Able to read and write English

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    · Up to 100% sitting, standing and walking in an 8-hour workday, more if working overtime

    · Ability to continuously wear personal protective equipment and/or clean room attire

    · Ability to work overtime as required
