A well-established and growing Boise-based sign and graphics company desires to hire a Production Specialist/Sign Maker. This position is a hands-on production position, responsible for making and installing signs and graphics on a variety of materials and in a variety of locations. We offer health insurance, paid vacation, and 401K. • This is a full-time position with normal work hours of 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Experience in sign building/construction and vinyl installation is an advantage, but training will be provided to the right candidate. Responsibilities: • Key responsibilities include operating leading-edge printing and vinyl cutting equipment, weeding and taping vinyl, and operating light equipment such as a panel saw, drill, and laminator. • Outdoor installations are a part of this role, and you must be comfortable working from a ladder and/or lift, moving sign panels and rolls of material weighing 50-60 lb., and digging postholes as needed. • You will also interact with customers, either at their site, in the store, or over the phone, and must dress appropriately to represent our business. Qualifications: • Graphic production or sign-making experience, including familiarity with large format printing, laminating, and vinyl installation (including vehicle vinyl application) • Experience in hands-on manufacturing or building construction Compensation: $16 hourly
