Production Specialist/Vinyl Technician
The experienced graphics installer has the initiative, necessary skills and experience to roll up his or her sleeves and jump right into production. The ideal candidate will have experience installing vinyl graphics/wraps to vehicles, signage and wall graphics, and will also assist in operating an electric screen printing machine and a commercial embroidery machine to produce customer requested graphic designs in a consistent manner which will include all aspects of preparation, operation, cleaning, and maintenance of the equipment. This individual will produce screens, load and unload the apparel from each machine and use a screen print dryer as necessary to provide a top quality product. Candidates must be committed to quality, always paying attention to details, consistently delivering outstanding customer service, and able to function effectively in a fastpaced environment. Some on-the-job training and specialized classes will be provided. Analyze, troubleshoot, and solve installation issues in the field. Reads work order to determine proper logo and location of screen print or embroidery.
Determines appropriate ink and colors required for each print for screen printing and the appropriate thread selections for embroidery.
Produce all necessary screens for screen printing.
Verifies quality of garments, prints on garments, or sections of embroidery to those garments to ensure consistency and complete customer satisfaction.
Operate a screen print dryer at the appropriate temperature to cure products as necessary.
Operate a large format latex printer, laminator, and cutting machine to include performing regularly prescribed maintenance tasks.
Apply vinyl wraps to vehicles, including cars, trucks, vans and speciality vehicles following design specifications and ensuring a smooth and even application.
Clean and prepare vehicle surfaces thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion of vinyl material, which may include removing previous wraps or paint protection film.
Interpret and follow design layouts and graphics provided by clients, ensuring accurate placement and alignment.
Use cutting tools and precision techniques to trim excess vinyl material, create clean edges, and achieve a seamless finish.
Pay close attention to detail, making sure there are no wrinkles, bubbles, or imperfections in the applied vinyl, and addressing any issues promptly.
Inspect completed wraps for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments or corrections to meet high standards.
Maintain wrapping equipment and tools, and perform minor repairs or replacements as needed.
Maintain clear communication with customers, supervisor and other team members.
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds unassisted on a frequent basis throughout the day.

Experience in vinyl graphics/car wraps is a must
Experience with electric screen printing machines or 15 needle embroidery machines are a plus but not required. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
