    Key Responsibilities:

    Production Operations

    • Oversee and manage daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, and production targets.

    • Ensure that production schedules are executed efficiently, meeting volume, cost, and quality goals.

    • Monitor and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.

    • Develop and implement strategies to optimize production workflows and equipment utilization.

    • Lead the development and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production processes.

    • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through employee engagement and process enhancements.

    Kiln Coordination

    • Support the kiln operations team to ensure clinker production meets required quality and efficiency standards.

    • Collaborate with kiln operators to optimize kiln performance, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime.

    • Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the kiln, such as fuel efficiency, thermal stability, and emissions.

    • Work closely with maintenance teams to coordinate kiln repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.

    Team Collaboration and Leadership:

    • Collaborate effectively with the Production Manager and a Production Superintendent partner to align operational strategies and goals.

    • Build and maintain strong communication channels between production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams.

    • Lead, coach, and mentor production team members, fostering a high-performing and safety-conscious culture.

    • Ensure all team members are trained in proper procedures and have a clear understanding of production goals.

    Safety and Environmental Compliance:

    • Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring all production activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.

    • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

    • Support sustainability initiatives by optimizing energy use and reducing waste in production operations.

    • Participate in the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives to achieve operational excellence.

    General Collaborative Responsibilities:

    • Production Planning: Collaborate with the production and operations teams to develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans. Ensure that production schedules are aligned with demand forecasts and capacity constraints.

    • Resource Management: Coordinate with various departments, including maintenance, logistics, and procurement, to ensure the availability of resources (raw materials, equipment, manpower) necessary for smooth production operations.

    • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure that the produced cement meets the company's quality standards. Address any deviations from quality parameters promptly.

    • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement measures to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime.

    • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent stockouts and overages. Optimize inventory turnover rates.

    • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, track key performance indicators, and generate reports for management review.

    • Compliance: Ensure that all production activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

    • Training and Development: Participate in training and development programs for production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

    • Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to address unforeseen production issues or incidents.

    • Cost Control: Monitor and control production costs and suggest cost-saving measures without compromising product quality.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.

    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in cement manufacturing or heavy industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

    • Strong knowledge of cement production processes, including milling, blending, and kiln operations.

    • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide diverse teams.

    • Proficiency in production management tools and data analysis software.

    • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
