    Position Summary:

    • Supervises, coordinates and prioritizes activities of production personnel to meet customer, plant and management requirements.

    • Interprets specifications and job orders to workers and assigns duties.

    • Ensures effective utilization of manpower to minimize overtime requirements. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.

    •Observes workers and machines to detect errors or malfunctions and orders corrective actions.

    • Maintains production, quality and timekeeping reports and records accurately.

    • Examines products for adherence to specification and processes for adherence to standards.

    •Must be able to work any shift.

    This is a full-time salary role and is a part of our Euclid Manufacturing team and reports to the Department Manager.

    Required experience:

    Manages associates in the Production. This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit they carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    The Production Supervisor coordinates all departmental functions to ensure production requirements are met with safety, quality, and efficiency. Coordinates activities with materials, purchasing, maintenance, tooling, engineering, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines and equipment.
