    Production Supervisor: The Production Supervisor will direct, support, and develop team members within a designated area to ensure production and/or material support plans are achieved, maintaining safety and quality standards. Supervisors are expected to work cross-functionally to optimize workflows and facilitate cross training opportunities while meeting productivity.

    Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

    Monitors workflow and investigates and initiates corrective actions needed to correct problems adversely impacting production. Ensures higher level Production Management, Materials and other departments impacted by problems of delays or changes to the production schedule.

    Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with all departments.

    Develop and maintain knowledge of department in terms of quality, productivity, capability, and capacity.

    Work in collaboration with Team Leads to achieve production plans. Actively solicit, educate, and drive implementation of safety opportunities identified by team.

    Proactively communicate upwards on team status, challenges, and support requirements.

    Drive team member development and improvement through coaching and mentoring activities.

    Lead continuous improvement through effective leadership

    Insure that established policies, work rules, regulations and procedures are distributed to and followed by employees.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Associate’s degree or 4-year college degree preferred.

    Three to five years minimum leadership experience in a manufacturing/production environment or equivalent. Supervisory experience preferred.

    Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

    Supervisory experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, i.e. medical devices or other industries governed by FDA, ISO standards

    Proven ability to lead cross-functionally by inspiring team members and fostering an atmosphere of diversity, intellectual curiosity, and forward-thinking mindset.

    Previous experience working in a matrix organization including partnering with other functions (i.e. Engineering, Quality, Logistics) in a manufacturing environment to achieve optimal results

    Knowledge of Federal, State and Corporate regulatory policies

    Experienced with root cause problem solving and lean manufacturing tools/practices

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools i.e. Excel, Power Point, Word
