We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Production Lead to organize and oversee the manufacturing of our goods. Someone who is a people leader, eager to learn, and enthusiastic about our industry. In this position you will report to the VP of Operations and your responsibilities will include:

Supervising, training, developing and evaluating production personnel as well as enforcing health and safety precautions

Oversee daily production operations and ensure staff is performing at required levels of output and following policies and procedures

Ensure products go out within required timeline and ensure output meets quality standards

Monitoring production and communicate regularly with upper management regarding issues impacting output

Work closely with the Production Planner and Production Specialist to meet specifications and deadlines in a project production environment

Initiating and coordinating improvement projects that will allow production to evolve into a more cost-efficient, process and service oriented environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Work Experience will be considered in lieu of Degree

Experience in a production role supervising employees; Previous experience in a metals (aluminum) environment is highly preferred.

Hands-on approach to work and not afraid to roll your sleeves up

Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations

You are a people-oriented, like to think out growth trajectories for your employees and act as an accessible coach.

You have an analytical mindset, quickly gain insight into priorities and proactively and flexibly deal with tight deadlines and last minute production orders.
