    Role Overview:

    The Production Technician is responsible for assembling parts and ensuring that products meet quality standards. This role requires a strong technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing engineering environment.

    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

    Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

    Responsibilities:

    Operating Machinery: Sets up and operates production equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOP’s) to manufacture company products.

    Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance

    Assembling and Manufacturing Parts: Assembles and manufactures various automobile safety test components including but not limited to low profile robotic vehicles and soft targets.

    Quality Assurance: Conducts quality checks on product and assemblies to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.

    Troubleshooting: Identifies and resolves issues that arise during the production and assembly process to maintain efficiency.

    Safety Compliance: Ensures all safety protocols are followed to maintain a safe work environment.

    Collaboration: Works closely with other team members including engineers, product coordinators to ensure that production goals and quality standards are met.

    Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience

    High School Diploma or GED or minimum 2 years' work experience in manufacturing.

    Demonstrated ability to methodically follow manufacturing processes both written and verbal

    Ability to travel is preferred

    Basic computer skills.

    Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions.

    Working knowledge of inventory control practices.

    Lift truck operating experience preferred
