    What You'll Do:
    As the Production Technician I, you will be a part of an thriving industry, and you will be supporting the mission and vision. The Production/Manufacturing Technicians convert raw materials ( Isolates, Water Solubles and Distillates) into a final product through multiple refinement procedures. The Production Technician ensures the process runs smoothly ensuring there is no bacteria with proper cleaning, filtering out wax, removing unwanted residual materials, sending through centrifuge, moving to ovens, and packaging.

    Your Essential Duties:

    • Manage CBD and other cannabinoid-based production processes, assist in testing new production processes to remove solvent from biomass.
    • Updating processes to ensure safety is key and paramount.
    Monitor readings to ensure systems and processes are running correctly.
    • Manage distillation and filtering processes from raw material to final product.
    • Maintain strong, transparent, and effective day to day working relationships between contract manufacturing partners, MHL manufacturing facilities & maintenance, R&D, contract support, engineering, regulatory groups sales, marketing and MHL customers.
    • Ensure that formulations manufacturing is executed to yield, quality and schedule expectations through the effective use of operating procedures, master batch procedures, MHL SOP's and MHL training documentation.
    • Operate in the MHL formulations and packaging areas while meeting safety, quality, environmental, and production requirements.
    • Ensure plant and process areas comply with all safety, environmental, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and work-practice Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Works with management to identify/highlight deficiencies and adjusts to correct said items.
    • Degasification to remove gases from liquids and ensure bacteria has been eliminated during extraction process.
    • Manage production workflow with Supervisor to ensure process is working. Manage timeline and process steps for materials and tools/resources to work through the process safely and efficiently.
    •Review and fix tools, vessels, equipment, and instrumentation necessary to ensure product runs effectively.
    • Create and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and formulate training programs.
    • Assist with preparation of the plant and process operations for continuity with subsequent shifts as directed by formulations leadership.
    • Maintain clean workspaces and instrumentation/equipment.
    Ensure cleanrooms are clean to GMP standards.
    Manage different techniques and buckets for new products and materials coming in.
    • Clean all instrumentation and equipment at the end of lot processes, ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met.
    • Help to secure cleanliness for internal and external inspection/audit purposes.
    • Practice Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clean room environment protocols.
    • Must follow hazardous waste procedures when selecting, marking, labeling, inspecting, moving, or otherwise handling hazardous waste containers, or reading and applying federal and or/state hazardous waste regulations or record keeping requirements.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Candidate Qualifications/Educational Requirements/Skill Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Must have a valid driver's license.

    • 1-Year demonstrated high volume production or manufacturing work experience is preferred.

    • Intermediate communication (written and verbal) skills, to deliver more complex information effectively.

    • Intermediate problem-solving skills to be able to manage complex tasks and work through to solution with little guidance and direction.

    • Basic troubleshooting skills to work through problems and identify potential solutions.

    • Basic knowledge of mechanics and mechanical operations is preferred.

    • Basic knowledge of products/chemicals, boiling points, and other safety conscious areas is preferred.

    • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and how to interface with the data is preferred.
