    Summary of Duties: Create fabrication files for production from artwork supplied by the Design Department (shop drawings) and place artwork in appropriate department folders. Cut, prep, and apply vinyl graphics and generate patterns for fabrication, install, etc. as needed.

    Essential Duties:

    Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics.

    Retrieve art from shop drawing provided by the Design Department.

    Clean up of artwork to ensure quality output for all production files.

    Create production files using CorelDraw, En-route, and Flexi Sign Pro.

    Produce all machine files for MultiCam Routers, EZ Bender, and Trimcap Machine.

    Produce files for water jet and other outsourcing, including purchase order, material requests, and digital print files.

    Maintain archives of all production files.

    Research new ideas and techniques for overall improvement and efficiency of job duties.

    Cut, prep, and apply vinyl graphics.

    Related Duties:

    Train back-up for machine and vinyl files.

    Identify and report any quality or safety concerns.

    Maintain a safe and orderly work area.

    Maintain daily time sheets.

    Contribute as a team member to achieve Vinyl Department results.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Ability to effectively communicate with other team members and management.

    Ability to read and comprehend blueprints in English.

    Ability to use and properly maintain company equipment and tools.

    Compliance with safety equipment and company dress code.

    Solid knowledge of sign fabrication to be able to provide the necessary components for each job.

    Accept direction from supervisors and other management personnel as the situation requires.

    Mist be able to work overtime when necessary.

    Experience with systems such as CorelDraw, En-route, and Flexi Sign Pro a plus.

    Vinyl preparation and application experience a plus.

    Equipment/Software Used: Computer utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Flexi Sign Pro, CorelDraw, EnRoute 3D, and Graphtec. Cutting Pro FC8000 Plotter.

    Physical and Mental Requirements:

    Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

    Ability to lift and carry twenty-five (25) pounds, independently and with help.

    This position requires sitting, standing, walking, lifting, bending, reaching, stooping, crouching, kneeling, handling, pinching, and grasping. This position also requires close and distant vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Additional requirements are the utilization of effective communication and interpersonal skills/behaviors during interactions with other individuals.

    Working Conditions:

    Production work environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

    Working Hours:

    Monday through Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM (regular schedule); 6:00AM-4:30PM (overtime schedule), start times are flexible. Two (2) 15-minute paid rest breaks, one (1) 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Overtime available.

    Salary Range: $39,520 - $56,160 annually ($19-$27 hourly)
