    Job Description

    Job Summary:

    The Production Trainer is responsible for training new and existing employees in production processes and procedures, and operational best practices. This role ensures that employees are equipped with the necessary skills to meet production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct hands-on training sessions for new hires and existing employees on production processes, machinery operations, and safety protocols.
    • Conduct initial qualification of production employees according to established procedures and standards.
    • Manage the requalification process for production employees to maintain compliance with defined standards.
    • Provide recurring training sessions to production employees in alignment with procedural requirements.
    • Evaluate employees’ performance during and after training to ensure skill acquisition and compliance with quality standards.
    • Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to employees to improve efficiency and minimize errors whenever necessary.
    • Continuously improve the training system for production operators in coordination with the Technical Trainer and Team Lead, Local Training Center.
    • Collaborate with production supervisors and quality teams to identify training needs and gaps.
    • Develop, update, and refine training materials, work instructions, and documentation to enhance learning effectiveness.
    • Ensure adherence to workplace safety and quality standards through effective training methodologies.
    • Maintain training records and provide reports on employee progress and program effectiveness.
    • Keep up to date with industry best practices and recommend process improvements.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline production training.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in manufacturing or training preferred.
    • Knowledge typically acquired through at least a 2-year technical training program, supplemented by a minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role within a regulated pharmaceutical, medical, or sterile production environment.
    • Strong knowledge of production processes, safety guidelines, and quality control standards.
    • Excellent communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to assess training needs and tailor instruction accordingly.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficiency in using training tools, software, and documentation systems.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.

    Additional Information

    Working Conditions:

    • Primarily works in a production/manufacturing environment.
    • Requires standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of moderately heavy materials.
    • May involve exposure to noise, dust, and manufacturing equipment.
