    We are looking for a Sign & Graphics Production Expert to join our team. We specifically are looking for someone with production experience. You will create and install a wide range of signage, both simple and complex, for clients ranging from retail, manufacturing, and real estate businesses to churches, schools, political campaigns, and non-profit organizations. Responsibilities: • Product transportation (must have a valid Drivers' License) • This full-time Sign Production Specialist/Installer position is responsible for all aspects of the physical production of signs • Sign assembly includes preparing substrates and using the proper machines and techniques to construct products according to written instructions • Work as a team player with the customer service rep and graphic designer to complete orders accurately and on time • Be customer-focused with a friendly can-do attitude • Prepare signs for printing, cutting, and routing • Prepare substrates for vinyl application • This may include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc • Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images • Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images • Operate and maintain printer(s) • Perform quality assurance checking against proofs and customer requirements to ensure product is made correctly • Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the franchisee • Maintain the 5S system • Clean and maintain storage areas • Install signs: Both vinyl and dimensional letters to interior and exterior surfaces • Consult/interface with customers when required • Act as a backup designer at times if needed • Act as a backup customer service rep at times (will train) • Work on multiple projects simultaneously • Learn new technologies, skills and techniques as the company grows Qualifications: • Ability and experience in running a CNC operator including setting up and configuring production files • General understanding of architectural plans and drawings • Lamination machine experience • Experience working with a variety of substrates (acrylic, dibond, mdo, ADA, etc) • General familiarity with table saws, miter saws, circular saws, jig saws, and a variety of power tools • Ability to be productive, efficient, creative, and to solve problems • Hard-working, Great communication skills, Positive attitude • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the production design field • High level of attention to detail when creating digital works of art, signage designs, and layouts • Demonstrated customer service capabilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams • Must be comfortable with and capable of being on a ladder and able to lift 75 pounds This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: • Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous • People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects • Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction • Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture • Achievement-oriented -- enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might fail Compensation: $23 - $27 hourly
