    Subsystem Technologies is seeking to fill a Full-time position for a Professional Development Coach.     One of our clients needs a Professional Development Coach for a full-time position:

    Role Summary:

    Leadership Coaching:

    Provide individualized coaching sessions tailored to the needs of shipyard supervisors and managers, focusing on leadership development, strategic decision-making, and interpersonal communication skills.

    Develop personalized leadership development plans that align with organizational objectives and address unique operational challenges.

    Foster self-awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement among leadership teams.

    Performance Improvement:

    Partner with leaders to identify performance gaps, set measurable goals, and track progress toward improvement milestones.

    Facilitate discussions on team performance, collaboration strategies, and resource optimization.

    Implement proven coaching methodologies to enhance individual and team productivity.

    Conflict Resolution:

    Guide leaders through constructive conflict resolution strategies to foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

    Address workplace challenges proactively, ensuring alignment with organizational values and goals.

    Serve as a trusted advisor for navigating sensitive interpersonal and organizational issues.

    Change Management:

    Support leaders in navigating organizational changes, ensuring teams remain aligned with strategic objectives and operational continuity.

    Equip leaders with change management tools to address resistance, communicate effectively, and maintain team engagement during transitions.

    Provide guidance on creating resilient, adaptable teams capable of thriving in evolving environments.

    Skill Development:

    Design and deliver targeted leadership training workshops on topics such as communication, strategic thinking, time management, and resilience.

    Identify emerging leadership talent and provide mentorship for their professional growth.

    Integrate best practices and evidence-based coaching methodologies into training and development sessions.

    Feedback and Reporting:

    Conduct regular one-on-one sessions to provide actionable feedback and track leadership development progress.

    Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing coaching outcomes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

    Share lessons learned and best practices with organizational stakeholders to refine leadership development programs.

    Qualifications:

    To excel in this role, you should have:

    A Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.

    (12 years of relevant experience within the defense industry and/or instructional environments may be considered instead of a degree.)

    A minimum of 8 years of experience in leadership or professional development coaching, preferably in industrial or military environments.

    Coaching certifications (e.g., ICF, Gallup StrengthsFinder, or similar) are highly preferred.

    Familiarity with Navy shipyard operations, maintenance activities, or similar military-industrial settings.

    An active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

    Up to 10% travel is required.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with leaders at all levels.

    Deep expertise in leadership principles, coaching methodologies, and team development strategies.

    Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities to address complex leadership challenges.

    Proficiency in change management strategies and fostering organizational resilience.

    Skilled in designing and delivering leadership training programs tailored to diverse operational contexts

    Preferred Experience and Skills:

    Extensive knowledge of US Navy shipyard operations, team structures, and leadership dynamics.

    Experience coaching leaders in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.

    Proven ability to design, implement, and evaluate leadership development initiatives.

    Familiarity with adult learning principles and leadership assessment tools.
