A leading law firm is seeking a Manager of Professional Development to oversee legal training programs, summer associate training, and CLE programs. This role is a key part of the Attorney Development team, working closely with firm leadership to identify and implement professional development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage legal training content, including summer associate and CLE programs.
- Work with firm leaders to assess professional development needs and design training solutions.
- Maintain CLE accreditation, oversee CLE credit issuance, and ensure compliance with state requirements.
- Manage content for the Learning Management System and Professional Development intranet.
- Mentor and coach Professional Development Specialists and Coordinators.
- Regularly travel to firm offices to enhance professional development efforts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of professional development experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services setting.
- Strong leadership skills with prior experience managing employees.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment with shifting priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
