Professional Development Program Manager
Position Mission: The Professional Development Program Manager (PDPM) at IIANC plays a crucial role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all professional development programs. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. The PDPM will work closely with partners, instructors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of professional insurance association educational offerings.

Responsibilities:
Manage existing education programs offered by IIANC: Plan and schedule classes, coordinate venues and logistics, manage CE approvals, and oversee every detail to deliver top-tier learning experiences.
Create and Deliver Exceptional Learning Opportunities: Identify new professional development content, collaborate with experts, and manage course creation to meet the evolving needs of the insurance industry.
Own the Budget and Grants Process: Strategically manage budgets, track expenses, and prepare grant requests to maximize the impact of educational programs.
Build and Maintain Key Partnerships: Foster strong relationships with course vendors, instructors, and partners while negotiating contracts and ensuring smooth collaborations.
Qualifications:
Demonstrate a strong understanding of accreditation standards and insurance CE provider requirements with experience managing continuing education programs for insurance professionals.
Proven expertise in instructional delivery, including developing, coordinating, and overseeing professional development programs tailored to the insurance industry.
Insurance industry experience with knowledge of industry operations, regulatory compliance, and continuing education needs.
Demonstrated ability to manage class scheduling, instructor coordination, and course content development, ensuring high-quality program delivery.
Familiarity with educational technology trends, including virtual and hybrid learning platforms, to enhance instructional delivery along with a positive, can-do attitude about utilizing technology tools and resources available to achieve goals.
Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully planning and executing professional development initiatives.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with experience building relationships with vendors, instructors, and stakeholders.
Due to nature of the job, must be able to work in the Cary office 3-4 days a week along with occasional travel to conferences or off-site training programs.
Preferred Qualifications and Education:
Four to six years of previous experience in education program management, instructional program delivery or educational administration.
Experience in the insurance industry or working for an insurance continuing education provider or insurance accreditation provider is preferred.
Experience with learning management systems or association management systems a plus.
