Do you have a passion for dogs and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives and the lives of their owners? The Dog Wizard - Riverview is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time K9 handler to join our team! Weekend availability and the ability to start immediately are required.

Responsibilities:

Train dogs in basic and advanced obedience, behavior modification, and specialized skills.

Build and maintain relationships with veterinarians, groomers, and other pet professionals to expand our network.

Evaluate each dog’s progress and create tailored training plans to meet their unique needs.

Guide pet owners on how to maintain and reinforce their dog’s training at home.

Document training progress and communicate effectively with clients.

Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean, safe training environment.

What We’re Looking For:

A minimum of 2 years of professional K9 handling experience, including at least 1 year of e-collar training expertise.

Ability to board and train up to three dogs in your home, with a fenced yard strongly preferred.

Strong customer service and communication skills to effectively engage with clients.

A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current insurance.

Knowledge of animal behavior principles and training techniques.

Schedule:

Tuesday - Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation:

Pay Range: $40,000 - $55,000/year + bonuses and commissions
