JOB RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:

? Collaborate and develop design solutions for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems.

? Produce technical drawings and specifications.

? Prepare and present design solutions to various client audiences.

? Review building and energy codes to assure that design complies with the applicable legal standards.

? Research and select the best Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems for the construction of a building. ?

EDUCATION AND SKILL SET REQUIREMENTS:

ABET accredited professional degree.

PE

 5 years of relevant engineering experience in either Mechanical/Plumbing Systems or Electrical Systems, preferably both.

Capable of both conceptualizing a building’s Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems design and developing construction documents for its implementation. 

Strong communication and graphic presentation skills. 

Proficient in either Revit or AutoCAD.

Other software capabilities that would be beneficial including Navisworks, ComCheck, Open Studio, any major HVAC load calculation software package. 

Experience editing or writing specifications.

Experience with codes, standards, and handbooks relating to Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems
