Summary: The HVAC Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair heating, ventilation air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Individual is also expected to inspect and test systems, troubleshoot problems and recommend and provide maintenance solutions. HVAC Technician will report directly to VP of Development & Construction Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled maintenance and preventive & routine maintenance to all locations
Repair or replace worn or defective parts
Diagnoses and troubleshooting problems
Test systems and components
Maintain records of work performed in an organized manner
Discuss system malfunctions with Teams and provide information on proper equipment use
Promote workplace safety and environmental practices
Ensure all systems comply with industry standards and local regulations
Removing old systems and equipment
Requirements and Skills:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as work plans
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in confided spaces and lift a minimum of 50 pounds safely
Organize tasks in a priority manner
Ability to work effectively with a team
Work independently as needed to support the group effort
Certifications:
EPA 608
Universal level preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS HVAC technicians work in diverse environments, often exposed to noise, dust, grease, and various weather conditions, including heights, and may require heavy lifting, while also needing to follow safety protocols and wear protective equipment. Individuals must be comfortable with the tasks and equipped with the necessary tools and training to preform them safely, ensuring a healthy and productive work environment.
