Overview We are multiple compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. There are opportunities in both York and Dover for 2nd and 3rd shift caregivers. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a genuine passion for helping others and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals with autism and those requiring assistance with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide patient care in accordance with established care plans and protocols.
Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to the dietary needs of clients.
Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
Assist with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safety during transfers.
Administer first aid as necessary and respond effectively to emergencies.
Support hospice care by providing comfort and assistance to clients in their final stages of life.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times.
Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams.
Experience
Familiarity with patient care practices, including first aid and vital sign monitoring.
Experience in meal preparation that meets specific dietary requirements is a plus.
Background in direct support roles or nursing is beneficial but not mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in various situations.
Previous experience working with individuals with Alzheimer's/Dementia is highly desirable.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
