    Florida SouthWestern State College is accepting resumes in search of a Professor, Nursing ASN in the School of Health Professions at our Charlotte Campus to join our team of exceptional faculty.     Florida SouthWestern State College’s School of Health Professions offers two baccalaureate degrees, one post-associate certificate, eleven associate degrees, and five certificates that prepare students for workforce entry and advancement upon graduation and successful credentialing. Nursing, Paramedic, and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) programs are offered on all three campuses in Charlotte, Collier, and Lee counties.

    In addition to the valuable clinical experiences made available by our community hospitals and affiliates, FSW boasts a state-of-the-art Simulation Education Center that has obtained global recognition. Faculty, staff, and students in the School of Health Professions are active in community and professional activities at the local, state, national, and international levels.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Doctoral or master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education in the teaching discipline of Nursing (a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline)
    • Demonstrated ability to use technology in creating and delivering course content
    • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the subject area to be taught

    Salary Range: $51,976.01 – $61,643.90 (for two terms): the maximum salary is based on a doctorate education level and 10 years of verifiable full-time teaching experience. Salary will be determined at the hire date.

    QUALIFICATIONS :

    • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, statistics, or related field preferred.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working within a nonprofit or governmental organization or any combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to complete the essential job function.
    • Experience with various methods and platforms used for data analysis, integration and reporting.
    • Ability to translate data into a form that can be understood by a wide variety of audiences.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Detail-oriented and driven by curiosity to understand how data can translate to successful outcomes.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office computer applications, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel. Advanced skill level in Excel and other data analysis software like Stata and SPSS preferred. A skills assessment may be administered prior to hire.
