  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Assist with the enrollment and eligibility determination process for WIOA Adult, DLW, and Youth participants.
    • Collect and verify eligibility documentation and maintain complete and accurate case files in accordance with program and funding guidelines.
    • Utilize virtual intake and case management systems to communicate with participants and obtain required documentation and signatures.
    • Maintain consistent written and verbal communication with participants to support engagement and address any challenges related to program participation or workplace performance.
    • Conduct group orientations and present WIOA program components, including job search and career readiness workshops.
    • Support WIOA Program staff with the development and delivery of job readiness workshops and related materials.
    • Maintain accurate program documentation and assist with file audits and reviews.
    • Assist in the preparation and submission of internal and external reports and process incoming referrals.
    • Ensure all enrollment cases are reviewed and approved by a manager.
    • Regularly schedule check-ins with management to review intake processes and suggest improvements.
    • Support Business Services staff in outreach to employers, job development, and worksite setup.
    • Confirm job duties, work schedules, and participant placements for youth and adult job seekers.
    • Conduct regular worksite visits with program staff to monitor participants' skills development and workplace progress.
    • Assist employers and participants with timesheet submissions, edits, and approvals.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local resources, training providers, and employer needs.
    • Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with WIOA Services teams to ensure a seamless experience for participants.
    • Coordinate participant assessments during the eligibility and enrollment process to identify appropriate services and career pathways.
    • Provide feedback to program teams and leadership to support continuous improvement in service delivery.
    • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)Valid Driver’s license in good standing with current automobile insurance
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts
    • Customer service experience required
    • Accustomed to complex, fast-pace, and confidential work environment
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including understanding the legal language of contracts
    • Demonstrated computer skills, able to use various software programs for correspondence, reports, statistical compilation and analysis, and database access
    • Ability to work flexible hours
    • Decision making, communication, teamwork and organization skills
    • Desire to learn new concepts and work in a collaborative environment
