    Soccer Program Coordinator Soccer Shots- Madison, WI (Dane County) $22 - $26/hour- Part-time

    Part-Time, with future potential for full time salary

    Soccer Shots is a non-competitive, character-focused soccer program that introduces soccer to children ages 2-8. We work on-site at preschools, daycare centers, and run public park programs in Dane County.

    We are seeking a Program Coordinator who will be a part of our leadership team and create a fun and positive learning environment for children and our coaches through soccer. The Program Coordinator is responsible for representing Soccer Shots in the local community. This is a part time position, requiring someone to commute to various locations in Dane County to coach.

    WHAT YOU GET:

    $22 - $26/hour when coaching (expect around 15-20 sessions/week)

    $19/hour for admin hours (expect around 5-10hrs/week)

    Career opportunities (future FT positions and/or admin/management positions)

    Flexible scheduling – we can work around your availability as long as it is consistent every week for a season. This position requires availability for 2-3 weekday mornings and 2-3 weekday evenings per week. One weekend morning is required (Saturdays or Sundays) from 8:45am - 12:30pm. Flexibility to sub for coaches as needed.

    Coaching equipment, attire, and curriculum material

    Comprehensive paid Training- 20 hours of training expected.

    WHAT YOU NEED:

    Passion for sports, working with children, and fostering youth development.

    Professional: Neat in appearance; friendly and courteous with school staff and directors and parents; self-assured and confident.

    Enthusiastic: Must enjoy interacting with young children (2–8 years old); able to connect with children and communicate on their level. You must be very outgoing, animated, and able to be silly with the children.

    Previous experience in coaching, sales, or marketing, is preferred.

    Soccer or other athletic/sports experience: Soccer experience is desired, but no special coaching license is required.

    Reliable PERSONAL transportation and valid driver's license

    High School Diploma

    WI State-Required Clearances: Candidate must pass Department of Children and Families background check

    Eligible to work in the U.S. and must be at least 18 years old.

    CPR certified or willing to get certified

    RESPONSIBILITIES (can include but are not limited to):

    Coaching:

    Safely manage a class of children. Class sizes vary by age and location.

    Implement our curriculum which focuses on skill and character development

    Coach Development:

    Assist in recruiting, training, on-boarding, developing, and retaining coaches.

    Manage Park Locations: Manage and oversee public program locations. Responsibility includes supervising coaches and being the point of contact for families.

    Marketing and Communications:

    Performing seasonal marketing/promotions - running program demos, distributing flyers, and setting up tables at schools and parks.

    Representing Soccer Shots at industry events, Free Fun Days, open houses, etc.

    Account Management:

    Responsible for helping with the management and relationships of schools and any new sites. Maintaining and enhancing school relationships.

    Administrative/Support:

    Create, print, and distribute promotional materials

    Prepare and keep a record of equipment sets and gear for instructors

    Prepare and distribute seasons prizes and certificates
