  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    ** What You’ll Do:**

    As a Program Coordinator (PC), you’ll be a key member of our team, responsible for coordinating essential services that support our clients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Assisting the Program Director in maintaining consistent, high-quality programming
    • Stepping in as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) when needed to ensure seamless program operations and high-quality care.
    • Planning and scheduling engaging program services, recreation, and activities
    • Providing compassionate, person-centered care tailored to individual needs.
    • Coaching and supporting our dedicated staff
    • Facilitating clear and effective communication with staff, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure alignment on care and programming.
    • Assisting with finances
    • Developing and overseeing educational and vocational programs that promote skill-building and independence.
    • Writing clear and concise progress reports, ISP reports, and other necessary documentation.
    • Overseeing facility management to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    ** What makes you a great fit:**

    • Bachelors degree in Human Services, Special Education, or related field is preferred. Or, equivalent training/experience in disability services will be considered
    • At least 1 year of experience in disability services, adult education, or community-based programs, preferably in a day program or vocational setting
    • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, such as intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy
    • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
    • Adaptable and creative
    • Organized with excellent time management capabilities
    • Positive role model; able to lead, coach, and support
    • Tech savvy
    • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
    • Highschool Diploma or GED
    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Ability to lift and transfer 50 lbs.
