Primary Responsibilities:
LEADERSHIP - The PD is responsible for leading and managing a high functioning team to execute in key areas of program delivery, coach training, partner services and customer service.
BUSINESS OPERATIONS & PROGRAM QUALITY - The PD is responsible for implementing the company’s high standards for program quality; improving operational systems, processes and policies in support of the organization’s mission; overseeing the daily operations to ensure continuous growth and profitability.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - The PD is responsible for developing and expanding new partnerships (accounts) for Soccer Shots in the greater Austin area. Partnerships include: preschools, daycares, elementary schools, after school programs, park programs, and club partnerships. Business and development responsibilities would include, but not be limited to: researching, developing & cold calling potential accounts; visiting and executing presentations to potential account staff; scheduling and running on-site demonstrations; and on-going availability in person, by email and phone

Required Experience and Education:
Soccer enthusiast, loves and honors the game; coaching and/or playing experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent professional experience at a leadership level
3+ years in a progressive management role with proven experience leading and developing teams
3+ years experience managing and developing programs
3+ years customer management experience; experience developing and building customer accounts preferred
CPR/First Aid Certified or willing to get certified within 30 days of hire
Pass DFPS and FBI fingerprinting and background check
Have own reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
Mac experience a plus
Familiarity with Austin market a plus
Work Hours:
This is a full-time, exempt position. During seasons, expected working hours will vary and will include working on Saturday mornings and some weekday evenings.
This position is required to be available via phone during all weekend sessions and programs to respond to and address any potential coaching, child or parent issues.

Physical/Work Environment Requirements:
Functions in a temperature controlled office environment a portion of the time.
Work requires ability to sit, stand and walk throughout an extended work day (8 – 10 hours); position requires use of fingers, hands and arms on a consistent basis for keyboarding and phone work; position may need to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion; excellent vision skills (with or without correction) are required. The standard office environment has moderate noise levels associated with computer equipment, customers and phone conversations.
Position functions in an inside/outside sports environment a portion of the time throughout the year which may include temperatures of extreme heat or cold.
Work requires ability to run, stop, stoop, bend (a physical, exercise type regimen) in a minimum of 40 minute increments per session. Position requires use of hands, arms, legs and feet and may include lifting up to 50 pounds on occasion. Moderate gymnasium like noises are associated with this position as well as excellent vision skills (with or without correction).
This position requires extensive driving in and around the Austin area. The PD is required to drive to multiple sites during the week and on weekends to provide coaching, coaching assessments and support as needed.
