Axillon Aerospace is seeking a dedicated and strategic Program Manager to join our Program Management Department at our Rockmart, Inc. location. As a Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the development and execution of aerospace and defense projects. This full-time, regular/at-will position requires a professional who is adept at balancing technical knowledge with strong leadership and communication skills to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing project schedules, budgets, and resources, as well as identifying and mitigating risks. You will also be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers, and ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives. The role demands up to 25% travel to meet with clients, attend conferences, and oversee project progress at various sites. As a member of the management team, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the aerospace/defense industry and be committed to Axillon Aerospace's values of innovation, excellence, and integrity. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the success of our programs and maintaining our position as a leader in the industry. The salary for this position will be disbursed bi-weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

• Hands-on experience with project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, Six Sigma)
• Familiarity with contract negotiation and management
• Experience in managing project finances and understanding of financial reporting
• Prior experience with quality assurance and compliance monitoring
• History of achieving project deliverables on time and within budget
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field from an accredited institution
• Relevant certifications in project or program management are highly desirable
