JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team full-time in Winter Garden, FL. This role will support the Executive Director with program management, community outreach, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of proven experience in the nonprofit or business management sector and a track record of successful leadership. The role requires overseeing daily operations, coordinating pickups and distributions, and managing events. Candidates must be residents of the Orlando area, with strong knowledge of community agencies, resources, and funders throughout Central Florida, particularly within Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, and Polk counties. Fluency in English and Spanish or Creole is strongly preferred. Candidates must also be flexible with working nights and weekends and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement program growth strategies. • Manage and ensure compliance with program policies and best practices. • Oversee and coordinate mobile distributions, fundraising events, and sponsorship outreach. • Lead daily operations, including scheduling staff and volunteers and ensuring smooth program delivery. • Prepare and submit grant reports, annual reports, and other key documentation. • Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, donors, and stakeholders. • Organize donation pickups, deliveries, and diaper distributions across the region. • Assist in planning and executing fundraising initiatives and events. • Conduct thorough grant research, write compelling proposals, and manage submissions. • Plan and host volunteer events, ensuring volunteer engagement and retention. • Track program outcomes, measure impact, and ensure accurate reporting for key metrics. • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in nonprofit leadership or business management. • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, or a related field. • Must be 25 years or older with a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a van for events. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets). • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high emphasis on professionalism and clarity. • Mature, calm and professional demeanor, with outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work effectively under deadlines and in high-pressure situations. • Experience in social media management for raising awareness and program visibility. • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations and provide superior customer service. • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively. • Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising, with the ability to meet submission deadlines.
Additional Requirements:
Must be over 25 years of age to operate the company vehicle.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must pass Level II background screening Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License, clean driving record and have daily access to reliable transportation to and from work and for travel to off-site locations.

Must also be comfortable working outside in various weather conditions for community events
Ability to travel within Orlando and the surrounding Central Florida area as needed
