    • Our client is a Design, Manufacturing, and Construction firm that specializes in modular construction in the healthcare sector. Based outside of Birmingham, they take on multimillion dollar projects throughout the Southeast, and self-perform in most trades. They are known for their ability to deliver innovative, high-performance buildings, and have been rapidly expanding as a result.
    • In this role, the Program Manager will be providing leadership as a primary project interface for projects starting from design through to manufacturing, installation/construction, and closeout. The Program Manager is responsible for project management, customer satisfaction, and the coordination of multiple moving parts for the installation of products and provision of services. The Program Manager is the face of the company to clients and contractors, serving a challenging and critical function within the company. Looking for professionals with knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide overall leadership of healthcare construction programs, in conjunction with other team members
    • Develop program structure, including roles, tools, standards, and processes
    • Identify and remove major constraints impeding the program
    • Manage, develop, and mentor the program team
    • Work closely with the Director of Construction to ensure successful onsite construction of the modular units
    • Direct preparation of program and project cost estimates in detail
    • Direct preparation and approval of all schedules, including program schedules, master project schedules, and construction progress schedules
    • Establish overall strategy for project management and construction
    • Review project status, budgets, and schedules with Project Managers
    • Participate in client negotiations
    • Provide management of multiple projects with different team structures, including self-perform, trade partners, and GC partners
    • Manage relationships with customers, internal team, subcontractors, and local authorities

    Qualifications:

    • 5+ years experience commercial GC or design/build experience as a Project Manager
    • Experience project managing and estimating on complex multimillion dollar construction projects
    • Experience taking projects from design through construction (manufacturing a plus)
    • Ability to work long hours when the project calls for it
    • Expertise in managing resources, budgets, schedules, and materials in a demanding environment
    • Ability to manage a small team of PMs, and coordinate effectively between construction, manufacturing, and design teams
    • Comfortable using Adobe, Bluebeam, and MS Office
    • Ability to work full time in the office, with occasional travel

    Compensation:

    • Base salary in the 175k – 200k/year range
