    Job Title: Program Manager – Developmental Disabilities Adult Foster Home

    Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Program Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Adult Foster Home for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and a supportive environment for both residents and staff. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by empowering individuals to lead self-determined, fulfilling lives while leading a dedicated team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.

    Ensure compliance with all state regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies.

    Supervise, train, and support caregivers, fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment.

    Develop and implement individualized support plans (ISPs) that align with each resident’s needs, preferences, and goals.

    Develop operational systems

    Monitor medication administration, including proper usage and awareness of side effects.

    Assist residents with achieving their desired lifestyle through structured activities, community integration, and skill-building.

    Maintain accurate documentation, including incident reports, ISP goals, behavior support plans (BSPs), and medical updates.

    Provide leadership, motivation, and constructive feedback to staff.

    Address staff conflicts, facilitate problem resolution, and promote a culture of respect and professionalism.

    Participate in licensing reviews, self-assessments, and improvement planning.

    Oversee and manage program budgets and client finances in collaboration with the leadership team.

    Develop and maintain positive relationships with community agencies, families, guardians, and healthcare providers.

    Fill in as needed to ensure compliance with staffing ratios or provide mentorship to staff.

    Qualifications:

    One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in a related field.

    Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with experience managing a diverse team.

    Familiarity with medication administration, usage, and potential side effects.

    Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and organizational abilities.

    Ability to make sound decisions in response to incidents or unexpected situations.

    Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

    Must meet agency driving requirements (valid driver’s license and clean driving record).

    Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems (preferred).

    CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
